St Francis Of Assisi Animal Sanctuary in Abadiania, Central Brazil

We are a voluntary run project in the name of the Patron Saint of all animals, our beloved St Francis of Assisi, upon whose request Phyllis Bennett founded this so desperately needed safe haven for the animals in Abadiania back in 2003. Phyllis  Bennett channels St Francis's Energy and Love to all animals throughout the world.

Frenk Grett runs it for St Francis and is resident in Abadiania, he is a Son of the Casa and an Officially Sanctioned Guide, he totally believes that God will help people open their hearts up to the plight of the sweet dogs and cats in Abadiania and surrounding areas.

We rescue cats and dogs but want to expand in the near future donations allowing to add more animals but we need more space for this and more Medical facilities etc etc!!. A trainee Vet works daily at the shelter but without proper Instruments etc we have to send the very sick animals to fairly expensive Vets to a distant town, all eating up our fragile Finances!!.        Being located in Abadiania etc etc .
